Hi-tech MP3 shoes

Check out the concept shoe as shown above. It features an integrated CD-ROM, some speakers, tweeters, and a volume control knob to boot (no pun intended). Of course, it might be a little behind the times as most portable MP3 players these days use either a hard drive or flash memory and not CD-ROMs. It would be interesting to see how such a concept can take off in the near future, although I am placing my money on at least three more iPod generations before such footwear becomes possible. It'd be great if there was Bluetooth functionality thrown in for a truly wireless on-the-go audio entertainment solution.

Forget the fact that there's no way a CD will read in a moving shoe, but look at it. I mean really, look at it. It's like how they predicted the shoe of the future would look like in the 80's.

In preparation for the new Transformers movie, Takara is releasing these Transformers toys which turn into 1/2 scale Nike shoes. No, seriously. Not a tank, or a jet, or even a sports car. Shoes. They turn into shoes.

One of the coolest things about these shoes are that not only do you have speakers on your shoes to annoy people around you but if you feel as if you will get to many weird looks while your listening to your grits you can always throw on the wireless headphones that come with the shoes.
