Wedding shoes: an overlooked item during preparations

There’s so much going on whenever a bride-to-be plans for her special day. Plans range from getting the perfect dress, the best photographers and videographers, excellent florists and even the best date to get married. Now that everything’s planned out, there’s one thing missing – the best wedding shoes to go with the dress.

bridal shoes_wedding shoesUnderstandably, wedding shoes are overlooked most of the time because it is most likely to go unnoticed to the bride. Being covered by the long gown during the wedding, most if not all of the people attending the wedding won’t be noticing the shoes at all. However, it must be pointed out that wedding shoes are as important as the dress for the bride.

Wedding shoes range from satin pumps to strappy sandals. With a lot of shoes to choose from, brides should consider the comfort rather than the design. It would be better if she can have both factors.

It is important to wear on comfortable wedding shoes because the wedding dress is already heavy enough to sport on and it is best that the support won’t add much discomfort to the bride. The reception that takes place after the wedding means a lot of walking around for the bride because she’ll be thanking everyone who attended the wedding with her new husband.

Walking down the aisle is a memorable moment. It doesn’t have to be tainted with the memory of having aching feet afterwards.
